Bali gold is, in fact, a red-veined variety. (Kratoms come in red vein, green vein and white vein strains, each of which has different characteristics.) It is dried and fermented to create the particular mix of natural alkaloids which produce its rather special effects. This additional process does, of course, add to the cost, but it results in a Kratom which is pretty much unlike any other.
